Meet the Principal

Dear Families,

The 2025-2026 school year is under way, and it is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Las Brisas Academy. I am honored to join this wonderful school community and to partner with you in supporting our students as they learn, grow, and thrive.

For more than twenty years, I have had the privilege of serving students and families across Arizona in various roles—including teacher, instructional coach/program coordinator, curriculum director, and assistant principal. These experiences have shaped my belief that every child deserves a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where they can reach their full potential. I am especially passionate about supporting language learners and creating schools that celebrate diversity, curiosity, and achievement.

My leadership journey has also included participation in the University of Virginia’s School Turnaround Program, where I gained valuable tools for using data to strengthen instruction and foster positive school culture. I am committed to working closely with our teachers, staff, and families to ensure that learning at Las Brisas Academy remains both challenging and joyful.

Building community is at the heart of what I do. Whether it’s celebrating student successes, honoring our dedicated staff, or creating opportunities for families to connect, I believe that together we make Las Brisas a place where everyone belongs. 

I look forward to getting to know each of you and to continuing the tradition of excellence that makes Las Brisas Academy such a special place. Thank you for welcoming me into this vibrant community. I am eager to begin this new chapter together—one filled with collaboration, growth, and shared success.
